Assisted Living

WHAT IS ASSISTED LIVING?
Assisted living facilities are for people needing assistance with some of the activities of daily living (ADLs) but wishing to live as independently as possible. Assisted living bridges the gap between independent living and nursing home care. Residents in assisted living centers may not able to live by themselves but do not require constant nursing care either.

Assisted living facilities offer help with such as bathing, dressing, eating, assistance with medications and routine housekeeping. Assisted living is not an alternative to a nursing home, but rather an intermediate level of care appropriate for many seniors.
